Established in 1995, the International School of Filipino Martial Arts is the World Headquarters for the Bahad Zu'Bu Mangtas Baraw system of Grandmaster Yuli Romo and the United Kingdom Headquarters for the elite Bakbakan International Organisation of Master Rey Galang and Master Topher Ricketts. Home to the most senior and experienced Filipino Martial Arts instructors in the region, the school offers the very highest standards of tuition to beginners and the most experienced martial artists alike.

The International School of Filipino Martial Arts is a member of the Philippine Council of Kali Eskrima Arnis Masters (PCKEAM) and is a founding member of the British Council of Kali Eskrima Arnis Instructors (BCKEAI). Both of these organisations are non-political and non-profit-making and represent the diversity and expertise of many of the world’s leading exponents of the FMA. The BCKEAI is providing unity amongst practitioners in the UK and is working with the British Olympic Association, Sports UK and the United Nations to gain official recognition for the FMA and become its governing body in the UK.
